Man kann ihn sich wie eine verbreiterte Windm\u00fchle vorstellen, die den Luftstrom von einem Ende zum anderen beschleunigt.<br \/>Wenn sich das Laufrad dreht:<br \/>1. Die Luft tritt radial \u00fcber die gesamte L\u00e4nge in das Laufrad ein.<br \/>2. Im Inneren des Laufrads folgt die Luft einer spiralf\u00f6rmigen Bahn (Wirbel), die durch die Zentrifugalkraft angetrieben wird.<br \/>3. Die Leitschaufel lenkt einen Teil dieses inneren Wirbels um und stabilisiert und beschleunigt die Str\u00f6mung.<br \/>4. Die Luft wird dann tangential und gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig \u00fcber die L\u00e4nge des Auslasses ausgesto\u00dfen.<br \/>5.
